Mohamed Salah’s agent has set the record straight after reports claimed the Liverpool star could be willing to leave Anfield this summer.
Salah, 30, only recently signed a new three-year deal to keep him at Anfield until 2025.
But his future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with Liverpool languishing down in eighth in the Premier League.
A report from Spanish publication Fichajes claimed Salah could be willing to leave Liverpool this season if the club failed to qualify for the Champions League.
It was also claimed that the Reds would be prepared to sell Salah, with PSG named as a potential suitor for the Egyptian.
However, Salah’s agent – Ramy Abbas Issa – has hit back at suggestions Salah could leave the club this summer.
“Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds,” he tweeted.
