Ruben Neves’ proposed transfer to Barcelona is at a ‘very advanced’ stage, according to stunning reports.
Neves has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with only 18 months left on his current Wolves deal.
He’s been linked with a move to Manchester United, but it appears the La Liga giants are on course to snap up the Portuguese international.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Barca’s pursuit of Neves is ‘very advanced’ ahead of a January switch.
The report adds that a transfer fee of £44 million has been mooted.

“Who wouldn’t want to try Barcelona? I think it’s a common question for all players,” he said.
“It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Of course, it’s always a privilege for me to be associated with clubs of this calibre.”
The 25-year-old added: “I’m going to do my job here [at Wolves] and I’m sure I have people working with me. I trust these people a lot for these situations.
“I have to focus as much as I can on Wolves. Making a good time here, things will come naturally.”
Neves joined Wolves from FC Porto in 2017 with the club in the Championship.
He starred for Wolves as he helped his team achieve promotion to the Premier League.
The midfielder has been an ever-present for the Midlands side, though his time at the club is seemingly coming to an end.
Neves will face stiff competition at the Camp Nou should he complete his transfer.
