A section of Manchester United supporters headed for the exit after Phil Foden made it 4-0 before Sunday’s half-time whistle.

Erik ten Hag’s side have barely had a sniff in the opening 45 minutes.

That man Foden took advantage of City’s pulsating start to proceedings with an 8th minute strike and predictably, the relentless Erling Haaland made it 2-0 after half an hour.

Haaland, who is leading the Premier League scoring charts, then slotted past David de Gea after a delicious Kevin De Bruyne pass before Foden netted his brace.

If you happened to miss all four goals, don’t worry. We’ve got you.

Moments after Foden made it 4-0 to the Premier League champions, a number of United fans were spotted heading for the Etihad exits. They had clearly seen enough.

Gary Neville, who was joined by Martin Tyler on commentary, shared the same sentiment. “Yeah, they’ve had enough,” the former United full-back Neville said.

As you can imagine, rival fans on social media had plenty to say on the matter. One fan said: “They take this piss out of City fans all the time but that is pure embarrassing.”

A second commented: “Missing some cracking football. They should stay tbh,” while another wrote: “Can’t blame them. Absolutely no fight from the front men.”
