Liverpool have been a handed a boost in their pursuit of Jude Bellingham after Real Madrid reportedly will not meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price.
Bellingham is on the wish list of nearly every European giant and he is proving why this season.
In the Champions League, Bellingham has four goals and one assist in his five appearances.
It has been reported that Dortmund will want a price of around €150 million to sell Bellingham in the summer.
According to SPORT, Real Madrid will be ‘unwilling’ to match that price tag and instead look to try and sign the young star for around the €100 million mark.
Have Dortmund discussed Bellingham’s situation?
Speaking to BILD, Dortmund’s CEO said: “I think as soon as Qatar is over. We will have a general discussion about what he actually wants.
“With him, with his parents, with whom we have a very close relationship. And of course with his advisor. And then he should just tell us whether he wants to stay or whether he wants to leave. In both cases, we will have a very pleasant and reasonable discussion with each other.
“But we don’t have to pretend that the issue is not on the table. If the really big clubs are involved, then we can’t afford to have a fight financially.”
