Joao Felix is clearly leaving Manchester City on pretty bad terms, after his social media activity following news of his departure.
The move is expected to happen before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night, with the Bundesliga champions set to have an option to buy the full back at the end of the season.
Even though Cancelo’s place in the starting line up has been far from certain since he returned from the World Cup last month, no one would have expected him to leave.
Apparently the problems for the former Juventus full back came at the end of last week, after he was left out of the starting line up to face Arsenal in the FA Cup.
Now it appears that it won’t be a good break up at all, with the 28-year-old also not happy with a section of City’s fan base, yes they do exist.
According to a number of the club’s bigger social media fan accounts, they’ve been blocked by their soon to be former player since the news broke.

“He going to be releasing a City diss track soon,” another joked, but after all it did work really well for Shakira.
Many made another joke, suggesting he’d been poor this season, with one such post saying, “To be fair that’s his first decent block of the season.”
Talking about the reports of a breakdown in the dressing room a fourth replied, “After this I’m not even feeling sorry at all for Cancelo , this shows how big negative impact he was creating inside the City camp.”
And deciding to wash their hands of the player, another summed up City fan’s feelings, noting, “Better hope Bayern buy him or he’s playing with the reserves.”
Nathan Ake and Rico Lewis have recently replaced Cancelo and Walker as Guardiola’s first choice full backs.
