Jake Paul has named his top 10 pound-for-pound list, and somehow included 13 boxers on it whilst missing out Saul Canelo Alvarez.

Paul has become one of boxing’s biggest names in the past couple of years, despite never actually fighting a boxer, due to his huge social media following.

As well as getting in the ring, Paul has involved himself in the sweet science by becoming Amanda Serrano’s manager, and being very vocal about his annoyance at her points decision loss to Katie Taylor.

And becoming part of the sport means that Paul is more than willing to chip in with his own opinions about everyone who competes.

That’s why he’s decided to put his own ‘top 10’ pound for pound list and it’s fair to say that it’s typically controversial, especially because it has more than 10 people in it.

Canelo Alvarez’s surprise loss to Dmitry Bivol means that he misses out, in what must be the only P4P list in existence the Mexican isn’t on, whilst Tyson Fury is named as number one, and Paul ratchets up the controversy by including Serrano, and Katie Taylor.

“First and foremost, Tyson Fury has just been so dominant in the heavyweight division for so long,” the 25-year-old wrote on social media.

“He beats every heavyweight by KO/TKO including Usyk and there hasn’t been a heavyweight in the history of the sport who hasn’t fallen off eventually and Tyson Fury has remained on top and I think will retire on top.

“However, what Usyk has done from cruiserweight to heavyweight has been impressive and his dominance, versatility, and boxing ability is second to none.

Usyk hasn’t been named number one despite his back-to-back wins over Anthony Joshua and domination of the cruiserweight division. Image: Alamy”Terrence and Errol is obvious and all it just needs to be settled.

“Artur Beterbiev is the only current champion who holds all KO’s and that’s not talked about enough.

“Bivol being in the same weight class means they need to settle who’s better, however, Bivol knocks Canelo off the list not only for beating him at 175 but for being willing to go to 168. We all know it’d be the exact same fight at 168 which bumps Canelo off this list + Canelo ducking Benavidez and Charlo.

“Moving on, it pisses me off that most pound for pound lists don’t include Amanda or Katie. Like wtf. This is boxing, not just men’s boxing and both have a lot more accolades then some names YALL put on your SHITTY lists.

Serrano narrowly lost to Taylor in an instant classic earlier this year. Image: Alamy”I have the ladies tied because Serrano beat Taylor at 135 and the judges robbed her, but at 126 Taylor would be KO’d and we all know it 🙂 can’t argue otherwise 10 years bad luck.

“Shakur making easy work of everyone in his weight class and knocking down Valdez is such a statement. He gives me young Floyd flashbacks.

“Moving on, y’all can’t have your lists with people like Lomachenko who doesn’t even hold a belt in that weight class which puts Devin Haney on this actually good list that is the real p4p list moving forward. Also it’s a sin to have someone who just lost on your list.

How is Canelo not on the list? Image: Alamy”How can you not have undisputed champions on your lists?! Y’all are goofy. Which puts Jermell Charlo in at #8. David Benavidez is being ducked by everyone in his weight class and has obliterated top level talent which puts him on the list as arguably one of the most feared people in the sport. Not a big enough name for them to risk losing. Wait till MVP gets behind him!

“Naoya Inoue self explanatory. You can disagree with this list but that just means you have 0 iq and are sexist + don’t love your Mom. I’ll keep y’all updated with my incredibly accurate list moving forward thank you!”

He’s certainly got some opinions does Paul. For one he certainly can’t seem to get past the fact that his fighter lost to Taylor, in a fair fight.

Can anyone really take anything Paul says seriously now he’s left out Canelo of his top 10?!
