jake-paul-makes-huge-claim-on-final-ppv-numbers,-even-his-brother-logan-was-stunned

Jake Paul has revealed details about the pay-per-view numbers for his fight with Tommy Fury and is taking the metrics as a source of pride after his first ever defeat.

It was the first time he had fought a professional boxer and he came up slightly short in the eight-round contest, with Fury winning on two of the judges’ scorecards.

However, Paul himself has stressed he will bounce back and posted a message on Twitter. But on a new episode of his BS’ podcast, the 26-year-old has discussed the fight in greater detail and claims the pay-per-view numbers are through the roof.

Paul said: “I guess the silver lining is that the pay-per-views are off the f***ing charts, probably going to be the biggest fight of the year.

“It’s going to be hard to contend with, maybe [Ryan] Garcia and [Gervonta] Davis.”

Paul’s elder brother Logan, who fought Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match, was left in disbelief at his comment and replied, “No way, what are the numbers?”

He added: “It’s probably coming in at, like, over half a million buys, but still totalling everything.

“So the business is great, obviously there’s still so many names out there for me to fight.

“I want to do the rematch with Tommy but I think all of those fights are still there and still massive.”

“I think the rematch – I’ve got to go get that back.”

The pair of fighters shook hands on the wager and though things went quiet as they showed respect for one another, Fury Sr still wants the dollar.
