Jack Grealish started for Manchester City in their crucial Champions League clash with RB Leipzig but fans noticed a change in his appearance.
The England international made his Champions League debut against the Bundesliga outfit last season, scoring a gorgeous solo goal in a thrilling 6-3 group stage win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
He was again on the left flank for the Blues on Tuesday night, with Leipzig again travelling to the Etihad Stadium for the round of 16 second leg after a 1-1 draw at the Red Bull Arena last month.
The former Aston Villa captain has worn a headband – which he buys from Amazon – in every single fixture over the last couple of seasons and they’ve become a huge hit with young fans.
However, for the first time in ages, Grealish scrapped the headband and instead had loads of hairspray in to keep his locks slicked back.
It was a throwback to his Villa days and before he became a £100 million player and it garnered plenty of reaction online amongst fans.
One commented: “No hairband for Jack Grealish tonight, with the #ManCity forward instead gluing his hair together with what appears to be an obscene amount of hairspray.”
A second reacted: “I care about jack grealish using an obscene amount of hairspray instead of a hairband!”
A third said: “What the HELL has Grealish done to his hair?”
Another added: “Grealish’ hair is killing me they gotta hide the hair gel from him after this.”

The Norwegian goal machine then made it two in two minutes, heading home after a thunderous strike from Kevin De Bruyne hit the crossbar.
And he completed his first-half trio of goals after the ball was kicked against him by a Leipzig defender on the goal-line after Ruben Dias hit the post with a header.
