Jake Paul has hit back at those blaming him for ‘cursing’ Liverpool, claiming that fans should blame Jurgen Klopp for the team’s form and not him.

The YouTuber turned boxer obviously had his new beloved Reds in top spot, above City, but the likes of West Ham and Aston Villa being so far up the table didn’t go down too well with fans.

Paul showed off his love for Mohamed Salah. Image: TwitterHe did say that the only thing he knew with ‘100%’ certainty was that Liverpool would be finishing above Arsenal this season, which was seen as a dig at his rival KSI.

That 100% is definitely looking less certain, after a bit of a rubbish start to the season from Klopp’s side, and Paul has come in for some flack.

KSI, and others, even blamed the 25-year-old, following the loss to Napoli in the Champions League, claiming he was a curse on the club.

SPORTbible spoke exclusively to Paul and he claims that those accusations are only because people like to use him as a punching bag, and thrown shade at Klopp.

“I think it’s funny, you know, I don’t think there’s such thing as curses and all of that.

“But it’s, people are just expressing themselves in their emotion and they want me to be the punching bag.

“You know what’s new? Let’s make Jake Paul the punching bag and the hated guy and take it all out on him. Real original guys couldn’t think of couldn’t think of anything more clever.

“I would blame Jurgen Klopp not me. I have nothing to do with this.”

Liverpool will be hoping that they aren’t cursed, because it will make turning their form around a lot easier if there aren’t mystical powers at play.

The Champions League runners up were once again expected to be challenging City for the title but have already dropped points in four games.

They have had some issues with new boy Darwin Nunez adapting to life in the Premier League so far, especially after his sending off against Crystal Palace, all Jake Paul’s fault.
