“Corner taken quickly… Origi!” are four words that will go down in the history of Liverpool Football Club.

On the night of May 7, 2019, Jurgen Klopp’s men pulled off the seemingly impossible when they overturned a three goal deficit to beat Lionel Messi and co.

Entries 130-11 were then ranked by a panel based on the goal’s quality, importance, iconic status and lasting legacy.

And eventually, fans had to vote for their top 10. So who else ranked amongst the best?

Rather unsurprisingly, former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard took second and third with two iconic strikes.

The goal that came second was that late screamer against West Ham in the 2006 FA Cup final, and his header against AC Milan in Istanbul came third – the header that sparked the most dramatic of European comebacks.

You can see the rest of the top 10 on Liverpool’s official Twitter page below. There’s some corkers in here.
