A compilation of Lionel Messi’s best passes this season has emerged, and it is spectacular.

The Paris Saint Germain star struggled during his first season after his stunning move from Barcelona to Paris last summer. Many thought the seven time Ballon d’Or winner was on the decline.

This season, he looks to be back at his best as he has been one of the stars of the PSG show so far. Along with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the Parc des Princes club have made a decent start to the 22/23 campaign.

In just 10 appearances, Messi has managed to find the back of the net on five occasions, whilst providing eight assists.

Now, there has been a video posted on social media which shows Messi’s best passes from the first 10 games of the season, and it is ridiculous how good he is.

The caption for the video read: “This video of Messi’s passes in the first 10 games of the season is genuinely a lifetime of highlights for most players.”

See for yourself below.

Fans were quick to react to the compilation.

One fan said: “Simply stunning, we will never see anyone with his abilities. GOAT.”

Another tweeted: “How can you not appreciate this legend, sigh. The pin-point accuracy of his lob-passes/crossing(s) are inevitably second to none. Imagine what this sport would look like when he announces his retirement.”

A third fan added: “If you need any proof as to why Messi is the GOAT just watch this. Would rather sit deep and assist till the cows come home and make the team better than wait in the six yard box for a tap in.”

Messi scored on Tuesday night against Maccabi Haifa, as a result he has broken Cristiano Ronaldo’s record by scoring against a 39th different club in the Champions League.

He said, per Metro: “I would like to think that Messi’s time at the club is not over, let alone the way it happened.

“I think he deserves a second chance, or another chance, to show that he can leave the club well and that he has been the best player in history.

“From next year we will talk about it. But the question is whether I would like it, the answer is yes.”

Messi’s contract at the Parc des Princes is due to expire in the summer of 2023.

Will Messi stay in Paris or go elsewhere? Only time will tell.
