bukayo-saka’s-24-minute-cameo-vs-germany-was-one-of-the-best-you’ll-ever-witness

Bukayo Saka completely changed England’s fortunes after coming on during their 3-3 draw with Germany and his highlights are very impressive.

The Arsenal winger replaced Phil Foden in the 66th minute of Monday’s Nations League clash, with Gareth Southgate’s side 2-0 down thanks to an Ilkay Gundogan penalty and Kai Havertz strike.

He wasn’t afraid to take a man on and some nice work down the right allowed Reece James to fire a cross into the box.

Luke Shaw volleyed home to half the deficit but it was the equaliser that saw Saka truly shine.

The 21-year-old drifted away from Serge Gnabry and jinked past Nico Schlotterbeck to set up fellow substitute Mason Mount, who fired home a first-time effort to make it 2-2.

England would take the lead with seven minutes to go through a Harry Kane spot kick which sent Wembley wild.

Saka was the talk of social media at full time and it’s no surprise. He was played at left wing-back in Friday’s defeat to Italy before losing his place to Shaw, a misuse of his talents.

One person said: “That James x Saka right flack is making me feel something.”

Another commented: “Proper wing play this.”

Someone tweeted: “Not a normal footballer. Special player.”

While a fourth put: “He’s England’s best player right now jokes aside.”

Former Three Lions striker Jermaine Defoe praised Saka and Mount for their roles in the equaliser and claimed it’s what England had been lacking.

“Sometimes that doesn’t happen. Especially Mason Mount, he gave the manager something to think about. Great strike.”

England are not back in action now until the World Cup begins in two months time.

Their opening Group B game is against Iran on November 21.
