On Tuesday 6th September, Sotherby’s will be hosting its annual sporting memorabilia sale, as part of the auction there will be 6 sets of distinctive and historical colours going for sale. The right to register each set of colours is estimated to sell in the range of £2000 up to £20000.
The auction presents the opportunity to purchase a unique sets of silks that are not available to own through any alternative avenue. Images of the silks can be seen attached and include the famous blue and white colours carried by American superstar Secretariat; as well as sets including rare shades such as aquamarine, primrose and gold.
The auction gets underway on Tuesday, 6th September at 10.00am at Sotheby’s, 34-35 New Bond Street, London, W1A 2AA.
